The street light is out at the end of the corner.
Light has been out for at least 3 months.
I’ve contacted the homeowners association on three different occasions to tell them about the problem and each time they respond with the same letter that says they are fixing it. There was an accident at the corner last weekend. A marijuana delivery driver was taking an order to a customer in the neighborhood. The marijuana delivery driver was on his way out of the neighborhood. The police saw the guy and proceeded to pull him over. They specifically chose the weed driver, which I thought was a little odd. When the guy braked and came to a stop, he decided to move into the light at the end of the street. The police thought he was leading them on a chase. They were full blowing sirens and calling a helicopter. The whole exchange was really weird and odd. The guy wasn’t in any trouble at all, but the police were treating him like he was on the top of the most wanted list. Even though he was talking and looked like he was sober, there was weed in the car and the guy got fined. He took the fine to the delivery service and they took care of it at the courthouse. A few days later, I was watching the news and there was a story about young marijuana delivery drivers and the dangers that they face every time they leave the marijuana dispensary. I immediately thought of the poor driver in our neighborhood that was pounced on by the police in a SWAT-like investigation.
