The older I get, the less I’m surprised by all the curveballs that seem to come my way.
It’s not that I asked for this but I’m doing my best to just learn from challenges and stay grateful. My brother and I recently ended years of estrangement. And without the benefits of cannabis, that might not have happened. Indeed, recreational marijuana help tip the scales of the relationship between my brother and I. It really seemed so strange since one of the things that I was always so hard on him about was his use of recreational marijuana. Turns out, he was rightfully pushing back that I was too serious and too career oriented. He was right that I was too focused on money and results. Still, to find myself inside the local cannabis spot with my younger brother was not something I thought would ever happen. Yeah we both really wanted to make the effort now that we were sharing the same grief. Both our parents died within about a year of one another. I’m thankful that my parents didn’t have to be apart for long but it sure is tough losing them both so quickly. So my brother came to town to focus on us being friends. He was shocked when I suggested that we go visit the local cannabis spot. In fact he did a classic double take. Yet as I’ve aged, recreational marijuana seems more appealing and mainly because it’s legal. Plus I’ve changed my views on cannabis. Using the sativa products and sometime in indica products has really enriched my life in fact. I slowed down and I’ve gotten a much better perspective. I’m also grateful to cannabis for bringing my brother back into my life.
