I was on my way home from work on Saturday night.
I had to work until midnight plus the roads were undoubtedly clear with hardly any cars when I was on my way home from work. I wasn’t particularly paying attention to the road because I wasn’t concerned about traffic. I decided to smoke a marijuana joint on my way home from the job. I had a 7 mile drive from the eating establishment to my apartment. I lit up a marijuana joint when I was about 15 minutes away from the house. I was finishing up the marijuana joint when I turned on the street to go to my place. There was an officer on the corner plus he saw me smoking marijuana in my car. He instantly turned on the lights. I couldn’t do anything with the marijuana joint. If I would have thrown it out of my car, the office or would have been able to see it. I put it out in the ashtray plus opened up the windows to get rid of the smell of marijuana. It did not work undoubtedly well plus the cops smelled reefer as soon as he came to my car. He asked me to step out of the vehicle plus he wanted to know what type of drugs I had in the car. I told the guy that I was smoking marijuana but that has all I had. The guy offered me a ticket for driving with an open joint. He truly could have hold me off the jail full driving under the influence, but he offered me a ticket instead.
