I tip the marijuana delivery driver if they bother to text me when they’re on their way

I ordered a pizza yesterday for the first time in years.

Because of the delivery fees on pizzas, I have just grabbed them myself whenever I’m running errands or returning home from work.

Since I don’t live with friends, it isn’t hard to plan out my meals ahead of time. Back in college we’d all wander around all day and then decide around 6pm what we all wanted to eat for the night. I wasted so much money on mediocre fast food in college that I could have eaten like a king if I had simply purchased ingredients and cooked for myself. I wouldn’t even consider it these days, and I tend to feel the same way about ordering deliveries from the cannabis dispensary. Most of the dispensaries in my state have significant fees for home delivery. I can’t stomach adding $25 onto my order total just for a tiny bit of convenience. Since I get a four-hour delivery window anyway, it’s not even convenient if I’m waiting around all day. I received an email offering free delivery through the month of December to commemorate the winter holidays. I decided to give the cannabis delivery service another chance. The thing I want the most out of cannabis is variety, especially with all of the unique strains available and their individual terpene profiles. After looking at the cannabis dispensary’s menu on their website, I made an order and confirmed the day and time of the delivery. The website for the cannabis dispensary was clear that I would receive a call or a text when the driver was on his way over to my house from the previous customer’s home. This is what all of the cannabis delivery services do. The driver neglected to contact me and was banging on the door while I was still in the shower. I tried to yell for him, but he was gone by the time I threw on a robe and opened the front door.
