My house was once located at the edge of town on a dirt road.
I honestly was glad residing in my 3 bedroom property with many acres of land.
At night, I could not see anything except stars in the sky & that’s how I preferred things. When the town started getting much larger, my dirt roads were paved to make way for more people. Now I have neighbors everywhere & one of them is a pot dispensary & grow house operation. The locale is enormous & occupies many neighborhood blocks of space. All of the plants are grown indoors & the farm company has a retail distribution outlet on site. The dispensary carries all sorts of peculiar manufacturers’ products & many of the ones they grow in house. Roughly a month after I found out about the cannabis factory & growhouse, I filed a petition to stop the locale from opening. The boys in town hall said I would never be able to stop them & they were genuinely right. I wasted a good 6 months trying to fight the inevitable. Now the locale is truly a booming company & the whole block has the smell of the dispensary. The odor of marijuana fills the air all the time these days. I am not pleased that the town council allowed these wretched companies to purchase land to grow cannabis. I suppose there was a conspiracy at the highest level. This type of company never would have been allowed in my time. Now you can buy marijuana all around just like beer & wine.
