When I was a kid, I absolutely hated scary movies.

I never watched any of The Nightmare on Elm Street movies and I didn’t see anything from the Stephen King series. I went to a sleepover with some friends when I was 12. We watched the movie Child’s Play and that scared me for years. I had nightmares and I couldn’t sleep without a light in my bedroom. When I was in college, my girlfriend suggested we watch a scary movie. I didn’t want to watch the horror film at all, but she begged me to attend the screening with her.
