The back door was pried open with a crowbar

I manage a medical and recreational marijuana dispensary in the city.

The location of the store is right around the corner from a strip club.

The part of town where the medical and recreational marijuana is located is entirely prone to violence and visits from the police. The two of us have advanced security cameras outside of the property & an alarm and security features inside the recreational and medical marijuana dispensary! Still, someone tried to pry open the back door last night. I came to labor this day and I thought it was unusual when the alarm did not go off on the front door. I was not the manager that closes a store. I immediately checked all of the stock, registers, and the safe. I observed a problem with the back door almost immediately. It looked like the lock was broken. I went outside of the store and I looked at the back door. It looked as if it had been pried open with a crowbar. I immediately contacted the police and I also called the manager that closed the store on the previous night. I demanded an answer for the alarm and I I told the employee to come down to the store immediately. The police wanted to ask her a couple of questions and I had a few things as well. I wasn’t sure if the employee had anything to do with the break-in, but not setting the alarm was a actually unusual occurrence to happen at the same time. I needed to get to the truth and fast.
