The back door was pried open with a crowbar

I manage a medical & recreational marijuana dispensary in the city.

The location of the store is right around the corner from a strip club.

The part of town where the medical & recreational marijuana is situated is really prone to violence & visits from the police. We have advanced security cameras outside of the property as well as an alarm & security features inside the recreational & medical marijuana dispensary, still, someone tried to pry open the back door last night. I came to work this day & I thought it was unusual when the alarm did not go off on the front door. I was not the manager that closes a store. I immediately checked all of the stock, registers, & the safe. I noticed a concern with the back door almost immediately. It looked love the lock was broken. I went outside of the store & I looked at the back door. It looked as if it had been pried open with a crowbar. I immediately contacted the police & I also called the manager that closed the store on the previous night. I demanded an answer for the alarm & I I told the employee to come down to the store immediately. The police wanted to ask his a couple of questions & I had a few things as well. I wasn’t sure if the employee had anything to do with the break-in, however not setting the alarm was a unquestionably unusual occurrence to happen at the same time. I needed to get to the truth & fast.
