Just this past week, a buyer came back to the dispensary to return a bin of edibles.
When the buyer came through the door with the large bin, he had a look of dissatisfaction on his face… I decided to speak with the buyer face to face.
I have been the manager of the dispensary for a few years. I am the person in charge of ordering our cannabis products. I asked the buyer to supply me with some reasons why the edibles were being brought back to our store… The guy let me know that they tasted tremendously bad. The edible cannabis product was a bin of chocolate brownies. I opened the bin as well as smelled what was inside. There was a truly terrible odor coming from the bin. I decided to open the bin of edibles. I dumped everything onto a piece of paper. Several brownies actually had spots that looked sort of like mold. The buyer wanted me to taste the edibles personally, however I didn’t think that was necessary. The buyer was not very happy as well as I tried to make things right. I offered to update the product, but he wasn’t looking to try the same items again. I even offered to update the edible cannabis product with something of substantially higher value. Of course, he wanted his money back as well as there was nothing I could really do to change his mind. After the buyer left the store, I decided to try a brownie. The guy was truly right as well as they tasted like crap. I decided to pull all the brownies down until I could get a hold of the manufacturing business.
