The whole street smells like the dispensary

My house used to be located at the edge of town on a dirt road. I was happy living in my 3 bedroom mobile home with five acres of land. At night, I couldn’t see anything except stars in the sky and that’s just the way I wanted things to stay. When the town started getting bigger, my dirt roads were paved to make way for bigger neighborhoods. Now I have neighbors everywhere and one of them is a pot dispensary and grow house operation. The place is huge and occupies three city blocks of space. All of the plants are grown indoors and the farm business has a retail distribution outlet on site. The dispensary carries several different manufacturers’ products as well as several of the ones they grow in house. About a month after I found out about the cannabis factory and growhouse, I filed a petition to stop the place from opening. The guys in town hall said I would never be able to stop them and they were right. I wasted six months trying to fight the inevitable. Now the place is a booming business and the whole block smells like the dispensary. The smell of marijuana fills the air 24 hours a day and seven days every week. I can’t believe the city council allowed these wretched companies to buy land to grow cannabis. I think there was a conspiracy at the highest level. This type of business never would have been allowed in my day. Now you can buy marijuana at the store like beer and wine.
